Our work often suggests a very naturalistic style bringing out the simple, but ultimately sophisticated scene around us. The garden becomes an extension of the home where outdoor garden rooms are another place to live and not just an accent to your house. A backyard retreat becomes an entertainment space where quality time is spent with friends and family in comfortable surroundings that bring people together. Lighting dramatically brings the garden alive after dusk to extend the time that can be spent outdoors. Views are enjoyed from the inside and out. We creatively use wood, metal and stone within the landscape. Proper placement of the landscape and hardscape is seamlessly planned out by our Landscape Architect, Craig Scott Termotto of C.S.T. Design Group, within a Master Plan for your property. All or in part, essential elements in designing a serene setting could include perennial gardens, walls, pool, spas, water features, terraces, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, gazebos, patios, fire places, decks, pathways, fencing, driveway, arbors, lighting, et cetera.
The garden will offer a dynamic change celebrating the rhythms of the seasons offering places of interest and beauty year-round even in winter with delightful berries and bark. Other attributes include the attraction of wildlife such as birds, butterflies or hummingbirds in the landscape or turtles, frogs or dragonflies around a pond. A musky fragrance can hang in the air or we take a moment to notice the bold forms and textures of complimentary perennial foliage growing near a patch of ornamental grasses. Evergreens and trees anchor the overall space and allow for some privacy and shade within a more intimate setting. All of these subtleties emerge with a strong presence. That is to say, the overall design is something more then the sum of its parts.
