What Our Houzz Award Means For Our Landscape Customers

Our team of landscape and pond professionals was honored to be recognized recently with the Houzz Best in Service award for the third year in a row. If you enjoy planning and imagining your perfect living space, – indoor and out – then you’re probably already familiar with Houzz and its pages of inspirational photos and project ideas. But did you also know that it has a community of 40 million monthly users and over 2 million home building, remodeling and design industry professionals?

Those numbers are a bit daunting! And it honors and humbles us to know that enough people from the community recognized our commitment to service to make the award possible.

What The Award Is

The Best Of Houzz badge is awarded annually in three categories: Design, Customer Service and Photography.

For three years running, Grounds Keeper has been selected as a winning professional in the category of Service. The Customer Service honor is based on several factors, including a pro’s overall rating on Houzz and client reviews submitted in the prior year – in the case of this year’s award, the relevant reviews were submitted in 2018.

The “Best Of Houzz” badge appears on winners’ profiles as a sign of their commitment to excellence. These badges help homeowners identify popular and top-rated home professionals.

According to Liza Hausman, vice president of Industry Marketing for Houzz, “Best of Houzz is a true badge of honor as it is awarded by our community of homeowners, those who are hiring design, remodeling and other home improvement professionals for their projects. We are excited to celebrate the 2019 winners chosen by our community as their favorites for home design and customer experience, and to highlight those winners on the Houzz website and app.”
